William Lenover
A Tribute to the Life of William Lenover (Cousin of Vicki & Hal Harrington):
William was a Private First Class and a rifleman in G Company, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division, III Marine Amphibious Force. Before being deployed to Vietnam, he was stationed at San Diego, CA. On March 28, 1967, William was killed in action in Quang Ngai Province, South Vietnam.
His wounds and death were caused by a land mine. On April 14, 1967, William was laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, IL. His name is on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall: Panel 17E, Row 62.
