Chuck Doherty

Staff Sergeant Charles (Chuck) Doherty enlisted in the United States Air Force prior to the onset of hostilities in Korea. During Chuck’s time in service he was stationed at Westover Air Base in Massachusetts, followed by a tour of duty in Japan, then at Eastern Air Defense in Ohio. Chuck was honorably discharged on September 2, 1953.

Chuck was humbled to take part in the honor flight to Washington DC in 2016 alongside his fellow veterans. Chuck was very proud of his service and his country. Visiting the memorials was a highlight of his life.

Chuck was honored to be a member of the Veteran Voices Military Group at Faith United Methodist Church where he enjoyed the fellowship of the other veterans.
