Dedication Ceremony

(Above and below) The dedication ceremony was well attended by the local community.
Those who have not returned are always remembered at Veterans Voices events.
The Veterans Voices Honor Guard present arms to honor the colors at the ceremony.
The flag displayed here was donated to Veterans Voices by Wendella Tours and Cruises of Chicago, following a cruise for veterans on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan, August 24, 2017.

Members of the Faith United Methodist Church choir sang patriotic songs at the event.
Attendees were treated to a meal after the ceremony.
Uniforms past and present are displayed, along with a short biography of the service member to whom it belonged.
Memorabilia collected by Veterans Voices members was on display for viewing during the event.
