Veterans Day 2016
Darryl Wertheim, founder of Veterans Voices Military Group, speaks with Jim Kruse, founder of Kruse’s Krew, an organization that collects goods to mail “care” packages to service members deployed to hardship areas overseas. Jim was the guest speaker at this event.
The Veterans Voices Military Group Honor Guard enters the sanctuary of Faith United Methodist Church of Orland Park, IL, to begin the Veterans Day service.
Attendees were given the opportunity to write a Christmas card to a service member deployed overseas. Completed cards were included in the packages sent by Kruse’s Krew.
