A Tribute to the Life of Ray Cythaml:

Ray Cythaml, Army Master Sergeant, enlisted in 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1965.

Ray was stationed at Ft. Hood (Texas), Fort Sheridan (Illinois), Fort Buchanan (Puerto Rico), Kelley Barracks/Kaserne(Germany), and Fort Leonard Wood (Missouri). 

During World War II he landed in Normandy with the 42nd Rainbow Division, participated in the liberation of Dachau Prison Camp, and was at the Eagle’s Nest, Hitler’s private resort.

Ray received the Bronze Star during the Battle of the Bulge.  After Germany, he was transferred to the 2nd Armored Division, known as “Hell on Wheels”.
