Joseph Angel Torres

A Tribute to the Life of Joseph Angel Torres (father of Lisa Anderson (daughter-in-law of Al & Meriellen Anderson)):

Joseph Angel Torres was born on February 2, 1931 and passed away on March 15, 2018.

Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1953 - 1955, a former employee of Ford Motor Company for 35 years, and worked at the Krueger Funeral Home from 1995 – 2001.  

Joseph graduated top of his class from the Pole Linemen School. His superiors awarded him a squad leader job while at school. He was the only private in the company acting as a squad leader.

Joseph was married to Mary Rose (nee Hernandez) and was a loving father of Mary Rose (Thomas) Rubenacker and Lisa (Joe) Anderson. He was a cherished grandfather of Hope, Bennett, Charlotte, Chloe, Christian, and the late Anton, and dear brother of Consuelo, Antonio, late Carmen, late Trinidad, late Jose, Guadalupe, Soledad and the late Manuel.

Joseph was an active member of St. John Catholic Church of Glenwood and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
